A bill that was pushed by State Senator Rich Zipperer is being signed into law today in Lake Geneva. Zipperer tells me he believes the Telecommunications Bill will help up cut some of the red tape that has prevented the types of infratructure improvements that will lead to new jobs. There is disagreement over how many new jobs something like this can create - but the bill gained support from both sides of the aisle, somthing which is increasingly rare these days, because nearly everyone believes this does move Wisconsin forward. Kudos for getting it passed.
